This Privacy Policy applies to the UniversiaTCG game, website, player-account services, and related support operated by Toad & Luckdragon (collectively, “Universia,” “we,” or “us”).
Information we collect
- Account and profile data: email address, username or display name, a cryptographic password verifier, internal account identifiers, avatar, profile wallpaper, friends, and profile settings.
- Game and community data: collection and deck contents, progress, quests, rankings, matches, replay data, trades, reports, and other interactions with Universia.
- Purchase data: product, order, transaction, platform, currency, status, and entitlement information needed to deliver and reconcile purchases. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider, not Universia.
- Communications: information submitted through support, bug-report, newsletter, and testing-invitation forms.
- Technical and website data: session tokens, settings, cached assets, browser or device information, IP-derived region, page views, link or button interactions, and diagnostics. Website analytics use Google Analytics with IP anonymization and applicable consent controls.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide matches, collections, trades, replays, rankings, and progression; fulfill purchases; prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, and service disruption; provide support and requested communications; diagnose and improve Universia; comply with law; and protect players and the service.
When information is shared
We share information only as needed with service providers that operate hosting, databases, analytics, communications, and payments; with Google Play, Steam, Stripe, or another platform when you use that platform; when you choose to make game information visible to other players; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Public and social features
Your username, selected profile cosmetics, rankings, public trades, and gameplay or replay information may be visible to other players. Do not use a username or submit content that reveals information you do not want to make public.
Cookies and local storage
The website and game use local storage or similar technologies for sessions, preferences, consent choices, and cached content. Google Analytics may use cookies or local storage when analytics is permitted. You can reject or change optional analytics choices through the website consent control and can clear local data through your browser or device settings.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and game data while the account is active and as needed to provide Universia. You may permanently delete your account in the game under Profile > Account and privacy or through the web deletion page. Deletion removes the account and associated Universia records; identity fields are redacted from shared replays. Providers may retain transaction records under their own policies or legal duties, and limited records may be retained when required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
Security
We use access controls, authenticated connections, password hashing, and other reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Keep your password private and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update profile information in Universia, unsubscribe from marketing email, control optional website analytics, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or request deletion of personal information. Submit a request through the contact page; we may need to verify your identity.
Children
Universia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Higher minimum ages or parental-consent requirements may apply in some locations. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
International processing
Universia and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Universia changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions, privacy requests, and complaints can be sent through the Universia contact page.
